Clemson-themed wedding at The Loom in Simpsonville, SC – Stephanie & Tal
I was informed that the groom was a huge Clemson Tigers football fan, but even as experienced as I am at wedding photography, I could know the extent of what that meant… until I photographed their wedding! Perhaps not to the extent that he would have worn a bright orange tux, although it is possible that he may have tried, but the enthusiasm for Clemson was apparent throughout the wedding day. The location for the wedding ceremony and reception was The Loom at Cotton Mill Place, in Simpsonville, South Carolina. This venue is perfect for any wedding where the bride and groom want an elegant, yet rustic atmosphere, all wrapped into one venue. Beautiful hardwood floors, exposed wood beams, and magnificent brick architecture, make this a one of a kind wedding jewel in the Upstate of SC. By the way, Jeannie, the wedding consultant at The Loom, did an outstanding job and is the poster girl of Southern hospitality (brides, give her a call)!
Stephanie was fitted with Clemson orange shoes beneath her stunning wedding dress, and Tal wore Clemson cuff links with his Khaki suit. Oh, and the ClemsonTigerMobile was a project Tal and his grandfather had worked hard on since Tal was a little boy. The wedding decor incorporated a mixture of flowers, burlap, and cotton (which I thought was a nice touch, with the wedding being held at an old cotton mill). Tabletop displays featured significant cities for Tal and Stephanie, including Clemson, Greenville, Charleston, and of course, Simpsonville where they finally became husband and wife! The “Groom’s Cake” was a pile of Krispy Kreme doughnuts, complete with a miniature Clemson Tigers helmet topper. The first dances incorporated all of the parents, and everyone was encouraged to join in for and evening of fun and dancing. We did head out around sunset for some cool wedding party photography, and additional photos of the bride and groom. At the end of the wedding day, Tal and Stephanie rushed through a shower of sparklers glowing in the night. Tal started up the car, and they roared past (yes, pun intended) guest as husband and wife.
