Casey and Blake were married on October 16th, at the Timberlake Country Club in Chapin, South Carolina. The ceremony was held outside behind the clubhouse, overlooking Lake Murray. The sun provided beautiful back-lighting for the wedding party; this was a bit of a tricky situation to photograph, but also allowed me to get a few lens flare images (which I love BTW). Casey and the girls had some real fun throwing their bouquets into the air for a few photographs before we headed inside. The wedding reception started off pretty typical, with the introduction of the wedding party, first dance, and the father/daughter, mother/son dances. What nobody expected though, was a surprise well choreographed dance, which included the entire wedding party. I am quite certain that Casey’s expertise in dance had a LOT to do with this : ) There were some serious Gamecock fans in the house, so the big screen in the next room near the bar, competed a little for the attention of the guests. I suppose it comes with the territory, as both Casey and Blake are proud graduates of the University of South Carolina. Blake seemed a bit disappointed by having to slingshot the garter to the fellas, versus throwing it like a baseball; I can completely understand this, due to the fact that he plays professional ball. He actually just signed with the Arizona Diamondbacks – Congratulations Blake! At the end of the evening, the newlyweds exited the building into a shower of bubbles, and drove off into the night via a well decorated wedding-themed vehicle.
Congratulations Blake and Casey – Thanks for trusting me to create beautiful wedding photography for you!Flying Pig Photography Ron@FlyingPigPhotography.com
