Lindsey and Chris were married on August 11 2012 at The Loom at Cotton Mill Place in Simpsonville SC. The day started with Lindsey and a few family members adorning the wedding venue with some marvelous DIY decorations. There were so many cool ideas incorporated into the wedding day, and it seemed to show the personalities of the bride and groom quite well. I could tell from the colorful “candy bar”, thumbprint tree (for guest signing), awesome cupcakes, and the great props for the photo booth, that this wedding reception was going to be all about fun! Lindsey was calm, cool, and patient; she wasn’t one of those brides that get ready 6 hours before her ceremony, sequestered nervously waiting to walk down the aisle. She spent time chatting with her wedding day helpers, working through last minute details. When Chris arrived, she did head to the brides room to get ready for her man! The wedding ceremony was beautiful; Lindsey and Chris did sand mixing instead of a unity candle, which I thing is a cool idea for a keepsake. The reception featured excellent food, much dancing, and fun. The DJ entertainment for the wedding reception was Jumping Jukebox, and they really got the guests moving. Some highlights were… A super long conga line was trailing through the venue, cake was indeed smashed by the bride and groom, and strange characters were spotted near the photo booth! It was a great wedding day!
