Sarah and Chris were married on October 24th, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Pendleton South Carolina. Despite the forecast for rain, it was an absolutely beautiful autumn day! The colors of fall seemed to provide the perfect surrounding for the small historic church, featuring bright red doors in the front. Although we were not allowed inside during the ceremony, the door seemed to be conveniently left open for us to capture images from a distance; I was thankful for that! After Chris and Sarah walked out of the church as husband and wife, they spent some time alone just walking together outside. I thought it was awesome that they took time out immediately for each other, to reflect on the vows they just took, and the new chapter of life they were starting together – I think this time provided them with some of the best images of the day too! The reception was held on the grounds of the magnificent Woodburn historic home (c1830) in Pendleton, SC. Chris gave a wonderful speech that made a lot of people laugh and cry – I love it!!!
Thanks Chris and Sarah for allowing us to create images of your wedding day!
