Ashley and Tyler had a beautiful outdoor wedding on May 11th at the Timberlake Country Club in Chapin, South Carolina. Although the weather near Columbia can be unpredictable in May, the day turned out to be perfect for a georgeous wedding overlooking Lake Murray! Ashley and Tyler decided the night before the wedding to have a tent installed for the ceremont in case of rain; which I though was a great idea because it seemed highly likely. I dont believe any rain fell, but as we’ve all heard it said “It’s better to be safe than sorry!” Although Ashley and Tyler shared a close moment together before they walked down the aisle, they didn’t actually see each other. They met with a pastor and joined hands around a doorway to pray together; which was a very cool thing to witness! After the wedding ceremony, every attendant and guest grouped together for a portrait; kind of cool to have a photograph including everone that came to your wedding, right? The reception was held at the clubhouse at Timberlake Country Club, where the everyone enjoyed some great food, cake cutting, bouquet toss, and garter toss. There were some crazy moves on the dance floor too, all of the guests were outdone by the bride and groom. That’s OK! After all… it is their party! Tyler and Ashley ended the evning rushing through a crowd of family and friends throwing birdseed at them (some quite violently I might add), but they didn’t seem to care. The day’s activities had just about come to a close, but there were two people who were now joined together, excited about what the future would bring!
Congratulations Ashley and Tyler! Thanks for trusting me with your wedding photography!
