Greenville / Spartanburg South Carolina Wedding Photographers Present… David and Patricia!
Patricia and David were married on April 28th at Hardy Chapel Baptist Church in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Shortly after I arrived, I was looking over the sanctuary where the wedding ceremony would be held, and I heard the wedding planners talking about only using the side seating, if absolutely necessary. As guests started to arrive, it was clear that the seating would need to be used. The wedding was “standing room only” and I was confined to the center aisle of the church because the ushers had to seat people in chairs behind the back pew. The wedding ceremony was beautiful, and featured a soloist singer, and lighting of a unity candle. The reception was held down the road a bit, at Cleveland Park, which is near downtown Spartanburg. After the wedding party was introduced, Patricia and David danced together; it was a beautiful thing to see how Patricia looked up to David (partial pun intended). When it came time to propose toasts, it became clear why the church was jam packed. As I listened to their words of gratitude and perspectives, it was obvious that everyone has tremendous respect for David and Patricia. I am always reminded, when I listen to the impact people have on each other, just how much we need each other; we often wonder if we are making a difference in anyone’s life. Clearly we do, and this husband and wife are certainly no exception. After more dancing, congratulations, and laughter, Patricia and David rushed out of the reception hall through a shower of bubbles, What a great wedding, with a great couple!
